There were 2 Anthony Upper families, Ontario, Can., probably closely related. Yours, Mr. Edwards and mine are the same family.
Our Anthony was b.12 Sep 1820, don't know marriage date, d. 08 Sep 1905 in Forest Twp,
Genesee Co., MI. Bu. in Smith-Hill Cem., Otisville, MI. He married Sarah Jane Smith, b.30 Dec 1820,in Can.,She died 19 Mar 1900.
"It is possible..this Anthony is the son of the George Uppper who married Elizabeth sperbeck of Niagara prior to 1819. This George Uppper cannot be accounted for in the Jacob or Anthony Upper lines and may therefore have been a son of John Upper , the oldest son of George and Anna Upper." per Esther Summer's genealogy.
Have you seen the descendants of Abraham Smith FTM world Family Tree CD # 8, Tree #3815? Surnames Woods and Smith,but a lot of
WFT estimated dates and almost no places.
I'm having a cousin run a Genealogical Report on our Anthony and his Children from FTM CD# 11, Tree #1544.
Grand Uncle Walter S. McLain md. Abigail Upper, (sister to your Abram B. Upper) 19 May 1888 in Forest Twp, Genesee Co.,MI. His mother's name Fanny Smith, her's Sarah A. Smith, Witnesses were David Wallace Smith and Miss Mary Ann Upper. She die d in 1924 (per date on grave marker), bu. in Smith-Hill Cem., Otisville, Genesee Co.,MI. along side Walter S. Briefly saw the Upper plot while searching for G.Grandfather, Mathew McLain's gravesite.

My great Grand Uncle, Walter S. McLain, married 19 May 1888,Abigail Upper, dau. of Anthony and Sarah Ann Smith. She died in 1824 and is buried in Smith-Hill Cem.(Forest Twp.) Otisville,Genesee Co., MI.
All I've got on Charles Upper, b. Mar 1846, married Henrietta had dau. Sarah A.
