<b>Virginia Dell Chase 1921 - 2012 </b>Mrs. Virginia Dell Chase, age 91, reached her final home Tuesday, December 11, 2012. Praise God! She is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen!! She was born June 21, 1921 in Jackson, MI, the daughter of Lawrence and Pearl (Griner) Cummings. On June 25, 1938, she married Lowell Chase at his parents' home in Spring Arbor. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, giving of her time and talents at the churches Lowell pastored. She was a wonderful cook and pie maker and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Virginia is survived by her children, Robert (Yvonne) Chase of Spring Arbor, Carolyn (Bob) Branham of Crawford Lake, Larry (Linda) Chase of Stanton, Sharon (Tom) Clementz of Sheridan, Shirley (Silas) Bennett of Sheridan, and Gary (Jan) Chase o f Summit, AR; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law Al DeWitt of Edmore; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pastor Lowell Chase; and her daughter, Brenda DeWitt. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2012 at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville, with visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM prior to the funeral. Pastor Bob Carpenter will serve as officiant. Private burial will take place alo ngside her husband in Spring Arbor Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to a charity of one's choice.
