Judy Wells
Julia Joyce ``Judy'' Wells, 76, of 680 Wayne Lane died Aug. 30, 2001, at Regency at the Park, 420 S. E. Myra Road, College Place.
The memorial service will be 1 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Ernest Campbell officiating. Private burial was in Pullman (Wash.) Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christian Aid Center, Walla Walla Community Hospice or a charity of the donor's choice through Herring Groseclose Funeral Home, 315 W. Alder St.
Mrs. Wells was born April 17, 1925, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Ray Abner and N.Elma Towner Pringle. She attended school in Michigan, moved with her family to Walla Walla in 1939 and graduated in 1943 from Walla Walla High School.
She attended Washington State University, married John D. Rehberg in December 1945 and lived in Pullman.
Mr. Rehberg died in 1968.

She married Norman E. Wells in December 1970 in Spokane where they lived until moving to Walla Walla in 1989. Mr. Wells died in January 2000.
A homemaker, she enjoyed golfing, traveling, gardening and sewing and especially being with family and friends.
She was a member of St.Paul's, the Walla Walla Country Club and several bridge clubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Lee Jackson of San Diego; a son, John ``Gary'' Rehberg of Bothell, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Kathryn Hall of Seattle and Margaret Burnett of Pullman; a stepson, Norman Wells Jr. of Ohio; a brother, Ray ``Bud' ' Pringle of Walla Walla; three grandchildren and seven stepgrandchildren.

Julia Joyce "Judy" Wells, 76, of Walla Walla, Wash., diedThursday, Aug. 30, at Regency at the Park at College Place,Wash.
She was born April 17, 1925, to Ray Abner and N. Elma Towner Pringle in Grand Rapids, Mich. The family moved to Walla Walla in 1939. Judy graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1943. She then attended Washington State University and married J ohn D. Rehberg in December 1945 and lived in Pullman. He preceded her in death in 1968.
