Note Ruth Annette Pringle, 86, Gouverneur Monday, July 18, 2011 - 6:01 pm Ruth Annette Pringle, 86, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the home of her son in Williamson under the care of her family and Hospice. Ruth was born in Watertown on April 27, 1925, the daughter of Cecil and Emily Deline Fowler. Ruth married Charles E. Pringle on June 22, 1946 at Hope Presbyterian Church in Watertown. Charles passed away April 29, 2005. She enjoyed hummingbirds, reading, crossword puzzles, spending time at the family cottage on Black Lake, and taking daytrips to the casino. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Charlotte Pringle and her companion Fred Siebert of Stanley; two sons, Charles and Sharon Pringle of Williamson and Donald and Cathy Pringle of Ontario; seven grandchildren; a brother, Charles and Barbara Fowler o f Newark; a sister, Marguerite and William Stevens of Gouverneur; several nieces and nephews; and a brother, James Fowler. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles; a daughter, Susan Ernhout Beal; three brothers, Leonard, Claude, and Stan Fowler; and a sister, Gladys Martin. Calling hours are Saturday, July 23rd from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. with a service at 11:30 a.m. at the Green Funeral Home, Gouverneur with Rev. Dr. Richard Mayforth, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Gouverneur, officiating and burial in Hail esboro Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in honor of Ruth to Lifetime Care/Wayne County Hospice, 3111 South Winton Road, Rochester, NY 14623 Ruth is survived by a daughter, two sons, 7 grandchildren, two brothers, a sister, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, a daughter Susan Ernhout Beal, 3 brothers Leonard, Claude, and Stan Fowler, and a sister G ladys Martin. Burial in Hailesboro Cemetery.
