SUNBURY — Arthur Jerome Clark, 92, of 252 N. Front St., passed away at 1:20 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2018, at Sunbury Community Hospital. He was born in Shamokin, Oct. 24, 1925, a son of Walter Albert Clark and Frances Mae Spears Clark. Arthur was a graduate of Coal Township High School. In March 1948, in Shamokin, he was married to the former Pauline Paul, who survives. Arthur was employed as a paper maker for Simpton Paper Co. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and sons, Elizabeth Chemnitz and her husband, Robert, of Hatfield, Walter A. Clark, of Tunkhannock, and A. James Clark, of Runnymede; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; and a sist er, Shirley Walburn, of Shamokin. He was preceded in death by sisters, Myra Reitz and Alberta Mowery; and a brother, Walter A. Clark. CLARK — Arthur Jerome Clark, 92, of 252 N. Front St., Sunbury. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Farrow Funeral Directors, Sixth and Chestnut streets, Shamokin, with the Rev. Beverly Petrovich officiating.
