Carole K. Forrest, age 57, of Wauseon, passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 2011, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice. She was born in Wauseon on April 8, 1954, to the late Harold W. Forrest; who passed away in 1994 and Mae I. (Clark) Forrest; who passed away in 1999. She was a former charter member of the Delta Jaycee Women. Before her retirement, Carole worked in production at Campbell Soup Company. She enjoyed shopping and traveling. Her favorite travel destinationt was the Smokey Mountains. In addition to her parents; Carole was preceded in death by her brothers, Larry and Jack Forrest. Surviving is her brother, Terry Forrest of Wauseon; sister, Lois (Bernard) Layman of Archbold; many loving nieces, nephews and special cousins. A funeral service for celebrating Carole's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Barnes Funeral Chapel, 5825 St. Hwy. 109 in Delta. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 2-8 PM on Friday and one ho ur prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM on Saturday. Pastor Jay Miklovic will be officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Delta.
