Veronica “Vic” Lynn Stevens 56 of Harrison passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at her home. Veronica was born June 8, 1959 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Robert V. and Anita (Barlow) Calbert. Vic was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas J ohn Stevens on July 26th, 1980 in Jackson. Mrs. Stevens had resided in Harrison since 2015, coming from Lake George, Michigan and previously from Jackson. Prior to retirement, Veronica worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over twenty five years. Upon retirement, Vic enjoyed visitin g casinos throughout Michigan and sewing crafts for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandsons and her pets. Surviving Veronica is her loving husband of thirty five years, Mr. Thomas “Tom” J. Stevens of Harrison, two daughters: Tammy Stevens of Harrison and Tina Brandon and husband Chance of Jackson, two grandsons: Thomas “Sawyer” Brandon and Huckleber ry Finn Brandon, her father, Robert V. Calbert of Jackson, one sister, Robin Leighty and husband Tim of Hanover, Pennsylvania, one brother, Kevin Calbert and wife Evelyn of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, five sisters in law: Susan Stevens of Parm a, Michigan, Deb Diamond and husband Otis of Jackson, Penny Stevens of Jackson, Sue McCall and husband Roy also of Jackson and Melissa Contero and husband Juan of Jackson, two brothers in law: Dan Pluta of Jackson and Rick Stevens and wife Bobb i of Albion, Michigan, plus many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews and a very close and dear friend, Sherry Caldwell and husband Ken of Albion. Mrs. Stevens was preceded in death by her mother, one sister, Theresa “Terri” Plut a and one brother in law, Bud Stevens. Memorial services for Mrs. Stevens will be announced at a later date. Veronica was born June 8, 1959 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Robert V. and Anita (Barlow) Calbert. Vic was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas J ohn Stevens on July 26th, 1980 in Jackson.
