Dr. Denise Susan Locklear, 52, of 1007 Island Grove Road, was born Tuesday, November 26, 1963 and departed this life on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center. Dr. Locklear is survived by her daughter: Susannah Locklear and husband Chace of Florence, SC; her parents: Ezra and Martha Locklear of Maxton; a sister: Kimberly L. Steed and husband James of Calabash, NC; a special friend: Earnest and a host o f relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 7PM-9PM at Boles Funeral Home Chapel in Red Springs, NC. Officiating will be Dr. Beverly Thompson. Memorial Service will be Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2PM at Red Springs Presbyterian Ch urch located at 115 North Vance Street Red Springs, NC. Boles Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Red Springs will be serving the family.
