<font="Arial","swiss",0><fs="+0.5"><clr="000000">BURTON</font></fs></clr> <font="Times New Roman","roman",0><fs="+2"><clr="000000">John Burton, 72, of Columbia Route 3, died Friday, June 28, at Adair Memorial Hospital after an illness of several weeks.</font></clr> <font="Times New Roman","roman",0><clr="000000">He was the son of the late Melt and Hanna Bryant Burton of Adair County. </font></clr> <font="Times New Roman","roman",0><clr="000000">In addition to his wife, Mrs. Myrtle Burton, Route 3, he ie survived by four sons, Aire and Azro Burton, Route 3, James Burton of Indianapolis, and Robert Burton of Louisville; three daughters, Mrs . Bessie Gowen, Norris Hill, Ind., Mrs, Elizabeth Miller, Mooresville, Ind., and Mrs. Marie Ringard, Ind. </font></clr> <font="Times New Roman","roman",0><clr="000000">Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 1, at Bear Wallow United Methodist Church with interment in Haven Hill Cemetery. Rev. Arvil Overstreet and Rev. William Rountree officiated with Scott s and Phelps Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. </font></clr> <font="Times New Roman","roman",0><clr="000000">Pall-bearers were Oscar Smiley, Forest Burton, Jay Burton, Gilbert Burton, Ural Harmon and Zack Burton.<fs="-1.5">
