<b>McLEOD,</b> Claudine (Kelsey) <b>-</b> Of Burton<b>,</b> age 82, died peacefully at her residence from complications of Parkinson’s Disease, Saturday, October 30, 2010. Funeral service will be held 11a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation 2-8p.m. Tuesday and 9a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Claudine was born in Adrian, MI on January 3, 1928 and was a resident of Burton most of her life. Claudine had been a long time member of United Baptist Church and enjoyed the fellowship and friends she and her husband Charles found there. She was an avid television and sports viewer and also enjoyed her participation in the WII bowling league in her senior apartment.
Surviving are daughter, Rosemary Amalfitano of Sacramento, California; sons, Kenneth of Dayton, Ohio, Norman (Cheryl) of Swartz Creek, Robert of Clio; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren with two on the way; several in-laws and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, son Charles Jr., parents, foster parents, Bill and Peg Stevenson, and 3 siblings. Special thank you to the staff and medical team at Lockwood (especially Jayne) for all their care and support. |
