In the yellow folder that Aunt Joan made "for Doris" (my mom) on Family Group Sheet, Fam. Grp. No. MO-3 John Morrow, husband and Isabella Christie, wife. On the facing page are thier pictures, marriage cert. and card announcing thier marriage. You will see, they were married at "Dr. Dowling's Church" on Bedford and Downing Sts., in the city of New York, New York State, in 1858, J Dowling, D.D., Minister of the gospel. On the marriage cert J.Dowling, D.D. is the minister that married John Morrow & Isabella Christie in 1858. The wedding card says at "Dr. Dowling's Church" (see pg 216 of the Nat'l Cyclopeaedia of American Biography) that was the Berean Baptist Church on Bedford St New York. Bedford & Downing Sts. NY. I searched for a picture of the the church but found none. at Google.com maps "street view" you can see the intersection of Bedford & Downing Sts., I have no idea if the buildings on any of the corners were there in 1858. However searching for the Berean Baptist Church images, I found 'Judson Memorial Church Historical Background'. (see Judson Memorial Church Historical Background) In 1886 Edward Judson moved the "Dowling Church" Berean Baptist church (the people not the building) to a new location on Washington Square. That church is still there and can be seen with Google.com maps. Edward Judson was a pastor at the North Orange Baptist Church in New Jersey at about the same time the Morrows lived in Orange NJ (see pg 480 Nat'l Cyclopeaedia of American Biography). The Morrow's named a son Judson in 1875. I think I've found a connection
